Nearly a month after her mother, Nancy Guthrie, vanished in Tucson, Arizona, the Today co-host is said to be planning her return to NBC’s Today in the coming weeks. Sources claim she could be back in New York as soon as this weekend to reunite with her husband, Michael Feldman, and their two children after spending weeks on the ground in Arizona searching for answers.
Nancy was last seen on January 31. Since then, Savannah has remained in Tucson, working tirelessly alongside family members and investigators. But insiders now say the veteran broadcaster has “given everything she had” to the search effort.
“She poured every ounce of energy into finding her mom,” a source reportedly shared. “She can leave knowing she did absolutely everything possible.”
Savannah, who has co-anchored Today since 2012, has built a decades-long career that started in local news before rising to one of the most coveted seats in morning television. Industry insiders say walking away from that chair was never truly in the cards.
